Another good event - 2016 L.A. River CleanUp @ Lower Compton Creek on 4/30/2016.
I believe everyone there feels great that he / she at least did it again! Besides our Taiwanese American friends, more and more local residents show up this year, Ken, Josephine and I are very happy that our persistence, 13 years in a roll, has come to a good routine. Many teachers bring their students, parents bring their kids... To see is to believe and it will help to change one's lifestyle just by joining an event like this one.
Annual L.A. River CleanUp has been adopted as one important program of Taiwanese American Heritage Week Celebration since 2003. Thanks to TUF, Taiwan Elite Alliance, also JT &Tea, IMEI Foods. Hearty Appreciation to Team Taiwan Dragon Boat team members - they try so hard to accomplish their shares of River CleanUp before heading down to Long Beach for the Saturday practice. Jerry, Alex, Hester, A-Bun, Carrie...great leadership.

Wash hands, have a few cups of water and enjoy IMEI snacks... and it is raffles time!
