2018 L.A. River CleanUp (4/28/2018)

Promotion of 2018 River CleanUp in our TA community, and all over the social media -



It was a beautiful day, perfect weather, perfect turn out, perfect participants!! Love you guys!! TAs rock!! Thanks to Warner’s assistance in taking 88-year Old Mr. and Mrs. Lai to be there!! And wonderful photos!!  Thanks to Team Taiwan Dragon Boat members, TAP-LA friends, TUF Board Members, and also many TA friends step out to support this year's CleanUp.

After a few hours hard work, all volunteers gathered in front of TEAM TAIWAN booth, to have some snacks and we have a fun Raffle going on... Besides the Taiwan T-Shirs and Hats, plus the Gourmet teas donated by Taiwan Elite Alliance.  (*Special thanks to Peter / Stephanie donate two big Lama stuff toys and make very happy winners.)

2.28-71 Commemorative Concert



This year we have a few things to talk about:

Rev. Thomas Chen finally can make his availability for us.  And, all audience understand why we want his prayer at this special gathering.  (For those not able to participate, please see the video link https://youtu.be/Eb2hY7o0s38   and you will appreciate his heart-felt prayer as much as we do.)

It is Wednesday evening and quite cold... but we appreciate so many friends are there to support this event.  Many are surprised to see younger TA in the audience.  We believe the extra effort to provide
English / Hanji subtitles on big screen also in our program books are well worth it.
 
Again, thanks to all musicians, volunteers and our participants.
