Together, we held an event that we've always wanted
and it turned out just the way it should be...
There were so many young faces in our audience, which in itself says
something already. We not only want the Justice towards history, but we also
need Justice for this generation and all our future generations. Peter Chen, who is a young attorney of TA2 shared
his personal enlightening story in between our musical programs. Simon Cheng, the former President of TUF led the entire audience in holding hands to pray for Taiwan at the end.
Our greatest appreciation goes out to all of the volunteers, some of which rushed back all the way from Taiwan just to serve in this event; to our
talented musicians, Rhapsody Trio and Taiwan Center Chorus for their great performance. We definitely acknowledge
everyone in our audience whom with patience, fought with the weekday's tough
traffic to get all the way to the venue. We are extremely grateful to everyone who respects the need to have this 2.28 event always take place on the very day, annually.
We cannot give enough
thanks towards the Board of TUF, for giving their full support to fund this annual
event. Taiwan Elite Alliance (優社) and Sam Gup Shui Studio (三合水工作坊) have always been fully committed to coordinating and producing excellent program ever since the
2.28-60th Commemorative Concert. Hakka Toastmasters Meeting Group dedicated its February meeting and encouraged all members to participate in this year's event. We surely are glad that with our community efforts, we have done it again!
