Ayugo Huang "繽紛山路" 2016 L.A. Concert

Celebrate 2016 Taiwanese American Heritage Week, Taiwan Elite Alliance (優社) has proposed two events: One is Los Angeles River CleanUp (on 4/30/2016) and another big one is to invite Golden Melody award winner, Ayugo Huang, to present his 繽紛山路 Concert on 5/14/2016.

2016 LA River CleanUp (4/30/2016)

Another good event - 2016 L.A. River CleanUp @ Lower Compton Creek on 4/30/2016.
I believe everyone there feels great that he / she at least did it again!  Besides our Taiwanese American friends, more and more local residents show up this year, Ken, Josephine and I are very happy that our persistence, 13 years in a roll, has come to a good routine.  Many teachers bring their students, parents bring their kids... To see is to believe and it will help to change one's lifestyle just by joining an event like this one.

Annual L.A. River CleanUp has been adopted as one important program of Taiwanese American Heritage Week Celebration since 2003.  Thanks to TUF, Taiwan Elite Alliance, also JT &Tea, IMEI Foods.  Hearty Appreciation to Team Taiwan Dragon Boat team members - they try so hard to accomplish their shares of River CleanUp  before heading down to Long Beach for the Saturday practice. Jerry, Alex, Hester, A-Bun, Carrie...great leadership.

2.28 - 69th Commemorative Concert

Again, thanks to TUF for continued supports on '2.28 Commemorative Concert' that Taiwan Elite Alliance (優社) has committed to produce for our SoCal community on the very day of 2.28 every year.

2015 L.A. River CleanUp

Another good day for the great event!


2015 Los Angeles River CleanUp is well done with our community friends on 4/25 (Saturday) at our assigned section - Lower Compton Creek.  Thanks to all volunteers.  Taiwan Elite Alliance (優社) appreciates all partners, TUF, 聖東台灣同鄉會 and again a very meaningful way to celebrate Taiwanese American Heritage Week (台美人傳統週) with our Great Los Angeles residents.

It is a bit scary as FWY 710 has construction and only one lane is open in the morning... so we thought our friends might be late for the event...but actually almost everyone shows up on time.  This is a super spirit that we have counted on all these years.

The site is kind of 'very clean' compared with last few years.  Less foam cups and boxes, but still too many plastic bags and snack pouches.  Our volunteers even picked up 3 shopping carts that were dumped in the river.

2.28-68th Commemorative Concert

Josephine and I, on behalf of Taiwan Elite Alliance (優社) volunteers, will like to share with you the videos of  2.28-68th Commemorative Concert.
 
We have tried to have our own composed Hakka songs to be included for all community audience, every program we try to have both Hanji and English subtitles for our audience, so no one will be missed out along the whole concert.  I bet you have enjoyed this one.

Hearty appreciation to our talented musicians, Half-Step Chorus, and our great volunteers. We are very grateful to our partner, the continuous support and sponsorship of TUF ( www.TUFUSA.org ). Another year's great production and the participation from our local community.
